When the enemy fleet descends too low, the distance enemy projectiles must travel becomes negligible, making evasion impossible if you are poorly positioned.
Focus all your firepower on the bottom row that is closing in on you.
Keep moving, all the time. Don't linger in one spot for more than half a second.
When the last alien moves at peak speed, stay cool. Do not chase it from behind; try to anticipate its direction.
