GTA VI: Beat Em Up, a new arcade-style spin-off! Step into the shoes of a hardened criminal and use sheer force to wipe out competing gangs and take back control of the underworld.

GTA VI: Beat Em Up features a fast-paced and highly satisfying combat system. You aren’t limited to basic punches and kicks; you can chain them together into spectacular, fluid combos. True to the "GTA" spirit, the game offers complete freedom to interact with your environment. You can pick up almost anything lying on the street—from baseball bats, iron pipes, and daggers to entire trash cans or traffic signs—and smash them over your enemies' heads.
In each level, your goal is to clear all enemies from the screen to unlock the next area. Foes arrive in waves, featuring a variety of enemy types: from fragile street thugs and long-range snipers to hulking, incredibly durable "Juggernauts." At the end of each stage, a notorious boss—equipped with their own unique set of skills—awaits you.
WASD / Arrow Keys: Move your character in four directions. Moving vertically is crucial for dodging incoming attacks.
Z / J Keys: Perform attack combos and pick up weapons from the ground.
X / K Keys: Jump.
C / L Key: Unleash an area-of-effect (AoE) special move to break free when surrounded—but be careful, as this skill often costs a portion of your own health.
The cardinal sin in beat-'em-up games is getting caught in the middle. Enemies will constantly try to close in on you from both sides. Keep moving vertically to group all your opponents on one side of the screen, then unleash a combo to knock them all back at once.
Fighting empty-handed is a poor choice. Melee weapons—like clubs or iron pipes—not only deal massive damage but also extend your reach, allowing you to strike enemies before they can touch you. Keep in mind that weapons have limited durability and will break after a few uses, so save them for the toughest, "tankiest" enemies.
When you do a throw or a special move, your character is invincible for a short time. Use this mechanic to its best effect when fighting bosses or when you are being hit with a tonne of attacks. Use one enemy as a projectile to strike others; it deals AoE damage while keeping your own health bar intact.
