Jelly Mario transforms the familiar Mushroom Kingdom into a giant vat of gelatin, where the traditional laws of physics found in platformer games are ruthlessly bent.
What is Jelly Mario?

This rendition of the renowned plumber, made by Stefan Schteppel, discards the stiff skeleton and instead gives him a mushy, elastic body that wobbles and bounces with every touch. Walking through checkpoints to the iconic flagpole suddenly becomes a chaotic exercise in spatial control. But not only the protagonist; the whole environment, from the blocks that obstruct your way to the Goombas and Koopa Troopas, follows this insane elastic physics system, and you can expect collisions and rebounds that defy all assumptions.
How to play Jelly Mario
The greatest challenge in the game isn't memorizing the map, but mastering these bizarre, slippery movements to navigate through trap-filled castles.
Mastering the slide: Mario’s gelatinous body will continue to squirm and slide long after you’ve let go of the keyboard. Learning to gauge your momentum and "brake" from a distance is a vital skill when facing narrow chasms.
Turning impediments into trampolines: don’t shy away from anything. By judging your timing and angle well, you can leverage direct collisions with bricks or foes to create a powerful elastic rebound that will send you toward regions that are otherwise unattainable with a standard leap. Mid-air spinning technique: When your character is in the air, attempt to quickly alternate between the left and right movement keys. This causes the gelatinous body to twist and creates a spinning motion that helps you to change your falling direction and land more safely.
