Lead your team through Dark World areas, interact with odd NPCs, find hidden objects, and solve riddles to proceed.
You directly control each party member’s activities in battle. You can Attack, Cast Spells, Use Items, Defend or use the "Act" command to pacify opponents, ending the combat peacefully.
As the enemy closes in to assault, the distinction between an RPG and an action game begins to blur. You have direct control over your SOUL, moving it around in a limited cage to avoid incoming missiles and obstacles.
Arrow Keys: Move your character on the map and control the SOUL to dodge attacks during battle.
Z / Enter: Confirm a selection, interact with objects, or talk.
X / Shift: Cancel an action or return to the previous menu.
C / Ctrl: Open the menu to manage your inventory and party.
DELTARUNE features incredibly deep "Act" and "Mercy" mechanics. By performing the right sequence of interactions with enemies, you can resolve encounters without shedding a single drop of blood. Unlike standard Mana, the TP gauge is filled by defending or performing "Grazing"—maneuvering your SOUL to skim the edges of enemy projectiles without getting hit. You can then use TP to cast powerful, life-saving spells.
The story of DELTARUNE unfolds across a series of seamless chapters. With five chapters currently available and more content on the way, the game world is constantly expanding, offering countless secrets waiting to be discovered.
