How to play Basketball Stars

Basketball Stars is a 2D browser-based sports game that lets you transform into top NBA superstars... but with a hilariously overpowered "big head" appearance.

Dash

Hang around the court, don't. Double-tap the side arrow keys and your character will dash at breakneck speed. This talent is important to fake out the opposing defenders when you are on attack, or when you lose the ball and need to get back on defense fast.

Block

When an opponent jumps to shoot, don't rush to steal the ball. Move close to them and jump at the same time (W key or Up Arrow). A successful block not only saves the day but also creates a fantastic opportunity for a quick counter-attack.

Special Power

Above each player's screen is an energy bar. When this bar is full and burning, immediately press the Ultimate Skill button. Your character will perform a fiery shot with a 100% hit rate, or an unstoppable super dunk, regardless of the opponent's defensive efforts.

Steal

When the opponent gets the ball, get near and continuously press the steal button. But if you miss, your character will hold for a second, giving the opponent a chance to score. Observe the opponent’s ball-hitting rhythm to make your move right.

Game Modes

1v1 or 2v2: Challenge the computer or invite your best friend to compete on the same keyboard.

Tournament: Overcome a series of the strongest teams to claim the championship trophy.

Random Match: Jump right onto the court with any character to warm up.

All matches are super fast-paced. To take the lead before the final whistle, you will have to attack, defend, steal the ball and hit fantastic three-point shots consistently.

Controls

The biggest selling point of this game is its ability to support two players on the same computer.
