How to play Vortex 9

Design your own avatar and go straight into tough, time-limited deathmatches. Your team’s main objective is to eliminate as many opponents as you can before the time runs out.

The factions are rather straightforward: you protect those with a green icon and just spray and pray at those with a red icon.

And thanks to instant respawn mechanisms, you are right back in the action once you fall. No downtime, only action, action, action.

If you want to climb the leaderboards and become the enemy's greatest nightmare, you can't only have a good shot.

Individual Combat Skills

Keep moving, jumping, and changing directions; make your actions unpredictable to the attacker.

Do not use sniper rifles in close quarters or shotguns at a distance. Get used to switching weapons quickly dependent on the range of engagement for maximum damage output.

Actively check blind spots, alleyways, and lofty positions. Enemies will typically try to flank you from your most unprotected angles.

Lone wolfing usually ends in meaningless deaths. Never be more than one or two teammates away. Multiple players firing on a target will kill it much faster. Stay together but never close together. Proper spacing ensures that a single area-of-effect (AoE) strike doesn't wipe out your entire team.

Resource Control Map

Health packs, armour and powerful weapons emerge regularly across the map. Not only does proactive collection improve your survivability, but you also deny your opponent the chance to recoup.

If you get taken down, don’t get down on yourself. Use the instant respawn concept to slip around the side and sneak up behind adversaries distracted by the fighting on the front lines.
