Escape Road
You must accelerate as police sirens sound behind you and flashing lights illuminate the night. Escape Road is a never-ending high-speed chase where mistakes mean being caught.
There is no finish line or safe stop; your goal is to endure the increasing police cordon.
How to play Escape Road
In Escape Road, driving in a straight line is a recipe for a quick demise. To set record-breaking survival times, you need to turn the streets into your personal playground by using tactics that manipulate the AI.
Bumper Car Trap
This is the ultimate "using an enemy to destroy another" technique in the game. Police cars will always track your movement path, and they can take damage if they crash into each other.
Instead of simply fleeing, drive in wide circles to bunch all the pursuing police cars into a tight cluster behind you. Then, suddenly make a sharp turn through a narrow gap between buildings.
The police AI cannot handle such sharp, simultaneous turns. They will crash into walls or pile up into one another and explode, allowing you to wipe out dozens of enemies without taking a scratch.
Fake Out
When armored SWAT vehicles appear, they will try to ram the side of your car at intersections.
Drive straight toward a turn and maintain your trajectory so the police AI calculates an interception point. The moment the police car lunges out from the blind spot, sharply jerk the steering wheel in the opposite direction.
The enemy will miss and crash straight into a cliff face or other vehicles. This maneuver requires finesse and split-second reflexes.
Edge Riding
In the later stages, the center of the map becomes an impassable mess due to the sheer number of burning vehicles.
Proactively steer your car toward the outermost edge of the play area. Drive along the fences or cliff faces.
This minimizes the risk of being attacked by police from all four sides. They can only tail you or crowd you from one side, making it easier to slam on the brakes; this causes them to overshoot and take each other out.
Survival Over Cash
Huge stacks of cash will often appear in extremely dangerous spots, such as dead-end alleys or the middle of obstacle-filled minefields.
Ignore the cash if you have more than five cars chasing you. Only pick it up if it lies conveniently along your escape route.
Avoid the mistake of risking everything for a small gain. Long-term survival yields a much higher score than risking your life for a few stacks of cash.
