How to play BitLife

The moment you are born, you are assigned a random identity with four basic stats that shape your future. Your job is to maintain and improve them.

Health: The most important stat. If your health runs out, it’s "Game Over." Visit the doctor, hit the gym, and steer clear of bad habits.

Happiness: Boring lives reduce it. Go to the movies, see family, or go on vacation to feel better!

Smarts: Smarts influence if you can get into a good college or a good job. Reading or visiting the library can improve your intelligence.

Looks: Good looks are a talent! An attractive appearance helps find a partner, model, or actor. If you can afford it, plastic surgery can improve your appearance.

The Age Button

Everything in BitLife revolves around a giant button labeled "+ Age." Each time you press it, your character ages by one year, and a random event is thrown your way:

Age 4: Your parents are fighting – should you cry or tune it out?

16 years old: A student urges you to skip school. Do you agree or alert the teacher?

At age 25: your employer invites you out to drinks.

Do you go or stay home with your spouse? Ready to create your own life?
