To win her heart, you must take the mike and vanquish every opponent in weeks-long rap fights.

How to play Friday Night Funkin'

Controls

FNF gameplay requires super focus and reflexes. The music plays, and arrow icons float up over the screen. You need to time your inputs just so and push the keys associated with them, Up, Down, Left, so, or W, A, S, D, the moment they match up with the see-through frames above.

Health Bar

At the bottom of the screen, there is a performance meter displaying two colors: blue and red. Blue represents you, while red represents your opponent. Pressing keys accurately to the rhythm pushes your icon to the right, giving you the upper hand. Conversely, missing notes or falling out of sync allows your opponent to take the lead. The game ends immediately if the meter turns entirely red.

Game Modes

Story Mode: Play the main story and progress through weeks of competition (easy to hard) with different opponents and tracks.

Freeplay Mode: Select any song you want to practise your skills or beat your own high score. No story pressure.
