A Small World Cup
Do you think football is a sport of 22 players on a field with fancy tiki-taka tactics? Forget that! Welcome to A Small World Cup! Here, the World Cup is miniaturized to fit on a single screen, but the chaos, humor, and competitiveness are multiplied hundreds of times over.
You only have one ragdoll-shaped player. No run button, no shoot button. The only way to win is to grab your player, stretch him out like a slingshot, and shoot him straight into the ball to score!
How to Play A Small World Cup
Playing A Small World Cup is easy, but to beat every nation and get your hands on the golden trophy, you need more than just randomly dragging and dropping.
Calculating the Bounce Angle
Never aim straight at the ball! The playing field is a closed box.
Instead of charging straight at it, shoot your player into the ceiling or the wall behind your opponent. The bounce will create extremely tricky parabolic trajectories that leave your opponent no time to react.
Concrete Defense
In this game, a missed shot means your goal is wide open.
If the ball is in the opponent's half and you are at a positional disadvantage, don't try to shoot your player forward. Gently pull and position your player to block your own goal. Wait for the opponent to shoot the ball off you before launching a counter-attack.
The Blitzkrieg
The first second of the match is the decisive moment.
As soon as the whistle blows, the ball is always in the middle of the field. Immediately pull with maximum force and shoot at a diagonal angle of about 45 degrees towards the ball. If done correctly, you will send the ball straight into the opponent's net in less than 1 second.
Good luck becoming the top scorer with A Small World Cup!
